Dartford Crossing tunnel closed after lorry crash with drivers warned of delays

Dartford Dartford Crossing National Highways

A tunnel has been closed at the Dartford Crossing for emergency repairs after an oversized lorry struck crucial pieces of equipment.

The west (left) tunnel of the crossing remains closed between J1a (Littlebrook Interchange at Dartford) and J31 (Purfleet-on-Thames/West Thurrock) after the crash at around midday on Friday.
