Broadcaster Darren Grimes has confirmed that his show on GB News will be discontinued.
The right-wing political commentator shared the news on Twitter, saying that his weekend show 'Real Britain' would be "ending in a few weeks".
Rumours had been swirling about Grimes' show wrapping up after he deleted his tweets and changed his Twitter bio, puzzling many of his followers.
He left only one tweet on his feed, which read: "Update coming shortly..."
Then, on Friday, he revealed to his followers that his show was being axed.
"Sadly, my GB News show, Real Britain, is ending in a few weeks," Grimes wrote.
The conservative activist added that he wanted to make the remaining few episodes on air "the best of all".
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who have loyally tuned in and supported me and the channel," he wrote.
"It has been the greatest ride of my life!"
His announcement was met with a variety of responses on social media.
"Sorry to hear that," replied Baroness Claire Fox, who twice appeared on the show. "Enjoy next few weeks, and say everything you've ever wanted to say!"
Others were less sympathetic.
"Sorry to hear this. Both your viewers will be crushed," one quipped.
Another added: "This has made my day. Thanks Darren!"
Grimes started hosting the show in January 2022 and 33 episodes have been aired so far, according to IMBD.
Guests included fellow GB News presenter Calvin Robinson, journalist Peter Hitchens and author Laura Dodsworth.
