Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent has queried why Ange Postecoglou would entertain the Spurs job as he believes the Celtic boss is merely an afterthought.
Spurs held talks with prized free agent Julian Nagelsmann before honing on Arne Slot. But the Feyenoord boss chose to remain with the Eredivisie champions and now the 57-year-old Parkhead boss is the top target for a side who finished a lowly eighth following a season to forget.
