Daring rescue mission sees fishing crew winched to safety off Scotland after boat sunk

A fishing crew were rescued as their boat sank off the north coast of Scotland this morning.

The seven crew members were winched to safety after their boat sank near to the Outer Hebrides, 100 miles north of Lewis.

The Daily Record understands the daring rescue operation was launched after the crew set off a distress alert at around 5am this morning (April 14).
