Daredevil: Born Again season 2 sees New York City turn against Kingpin in explosive new TV spot

Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again season 2.

A new Daredevil: Born Again season 2 TV spot gives us a pretty quick (and impossibly cool) glimpse of what Matt Murdock means when he says he's taking the city back from "Mayor" Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.

In the brief clip, which can be viewed below, we see the people of New York City behind police barriers, pushing back against Kingpin's oppressive new New York (which we can only assume is part of his agenda to take out any and all vigilantes). Clearly, this doesn't work, as a very cool shot sees Jessica Jones, Karen Page, Daredevil, and Angela as the new White Tiger standing in front of a crowd of New Yorkers wearing DIY Daredevil masks. We also see Royce Johnson returning as Detective Brett Mahoney from the Daredevil Netflix series.

Oh, and that quick shot of Bullseye turning diner silverware into ninja stars? There's no doubt that good ol' Poindexter is back and angrier than ever (and uh, we're definitely not about to forgive him for what he did to Foggy).

Absent from this particular TV spot is Matthew Lillard as a mysterious character known only as Mr. Charles... who we can assume is a villain just by his eerily calm demeanor (and promotional still that sees him grinning across the table from Fisk and Vanessa).

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 premieres on Disney Plus on March 24. For more, check out our guide on how to watch the Marvel movies in order, and keep up with upcoming Marvel movies and shows in the works.
