Liverpool have been told that Mason Mount would be a “good value” signing for the Reds as they attempt to revamp their midfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are in the market for a number of players to slot into the centre of the park with a number of their current options set to bid farewell to Anfield come the end of the season. Jude Bellingham was Liverpool ’s prime target but the Reds have recently pulled out of the race for the Borussia Dortmund star due to his extortionate price tag.
That has seen a number of more affordable options come to the fore over recent days including Chelsea midfielder Mount. It was previously suggested that the Reds could take advantage of the FFP situation at Stamford Bridge to seal a deal for the Blues’ academy graduate.
