Former Emmerdale star Danny Miller has sent fans wild as he reunited with his former on-screen partner. The actor, who is known for playing Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, took to Twitter early on Wednesday evening (April 5) as he teased that he was set to meet up with a friend who fans would know very well.
"Off to meet an old friend about our ideas for a new project, this evening," he typed on the social media platform. "If we get a non-cringy moment, I’ll try and post a cute picture. I think you’d recognise them..." And fans wasted no time in trying to guess who it was with many correctly guessing it to be former Emmerdale star Ryan Hawley.
@RuleTheW0rld_ tweeted: "If it's Ryan I will lose my s**t." @ruthiebm2019 said: "Oooo wouldn't it b absolutely brilliant if it was Ryan Hawley..now that would b a project worth waiting for ..but whoever it is I'm sure u will get it off the ground..gud luck Danny." @olsxzs added: "Pls say it’s Ryan."
And it's fair to say they were pleased when it was Ryan, who is known for playing Robert Sugden in the ITV soap. Following up his original tweet, Danny said: "We got a non-cringy moment," alongside a selfie of the pair sipping on a couple of pints.
The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner also shared a snap taken of the pair in the pub to his Instagram page and said: "Great to catch up with @ry_hawley reminiscing about old times and talking about our next chapter," alongside the eyes emoji as he teased them working together again.
And the comments section quickly filled with responses from fans of 'Robron' - the pair's Emmerdale couple name. @kakattz said: "Our prayers have been heard. " @barryjones2301 commented: "Two best male soap actors on television right there." @airythingevents replied: "Yes yes yes this is what we all need."

Others, however, couldn't help but hope for an Emmerdale return. @re5pectred said: "Are you 2 planning an emmerdale spin off? Pleeeeease/" @julesefc commented: "Both please come back! #emmerdaleneedsyou." @beverleyw2211 replied: "I wish you would all get your bums back to @emmerdale and yes all, you as well @kelvin_fletcher." @lolmac13 added: "Please come bk the pair of ya! Emmerdale isn't the same without you. You are the reason it was so good!"
Danny, 32, played Aaron in Emmerdale until 2021 with a brief return in 2022 when his sister, Liv, died in tragic scenes, while Ryan, 37, is was last seen in 2019 when he was whisked off to prison after killing his sister Victoria's rapist.
