Danny Dyer was spotted enjoying a cigarette break with his co-star outside the BAFTAs on Sunday.
The ex-EastEnders actor, 45, has been filming Disney +'s Rivals, based on the novel by Jilly Cooper, with Lisa McGrillis, 40.
Danny stars as self-made millionaire Freddie Jones in the show while Lisa plays his social-climbing wife Valerie.
The actress looked elegant in a black frock as she joined The Football Factor star - who was sporting a moustache - outside the Royal Festival Hall after the glitzy bash at the weekend.
The actors were joined by Doctor Who's David Tennant at the BAFTAs, who stars in Rivals alongside Poldark's Aiden Turner.
Unveiled at last year’s Edinburgh TV Festival, the show is part of Jilly's bestselling Rutshire Chronicles and is set against the backdrop of 1980s England.
Danny has kept himself busy since leaving EastEnders at Christmas with his Sorted With The Dyers podcast, Absolutely Dyer: Danny and Dani Do Italy as well as fronting Channel 4's Scared of the Dark.
The bonkers show, in which eight celebrities have to battle their wits against each other, is said to have been renewed for another series.
A TV source told The Sun on Sunday: “Scared Of The Dark was a bit of a risk. It could have been really dull or fascinating and fortunately for telly bosses it was the latter and Danny was a huge part of its success.
“It’s filmed over a few weeks in the summer so it’s really easy to get in the can.
“It was a no-brainer for bosses to order another series – they just have to convince celebs to sign up."
The Mirror has contacted Channel 4 for comment.
Speaking about the programme before it aired, Danny told us it was “f***ing hilarious”, saying: “They said, ‘Basically, we’re going to lock eight celebrities in the pitch black for eight days’ and I was like, ‘Sign me up!"
The star is also about to become a grandfather again as his daughter Dani gets sets to welcome twin girls with West Ham's Jarrod Bowen.
The Love Island winner has moved back in with her dad and mum, Joanne, while her house is being refurbished.
Speaking about spending time with Dani, who features on her dad's podcast, Danny said told Closer magazine in April: "Dani's only got a couple of months now before she gives birth and she's doing so well.
"She's actually moved back in with us while her new house gets sorted and it's been so lovely having her around. I've got so much respect for that kid, she's amazing."
