Dannii Minogue shared her personal dating tips while hyping her brand new dating programme
The Australian pop star landed in the city yesterday to premier her new BBC Three dating show, I Kissed A Boy. The show sees 10 single men come together in an Italian Masseria in the hope of finding love, with Dannii acting as the show's host.
The 51-year-old held the screening at Liverpool's Everyman Cinema followed by a Q+A session where she delved into the importance of the programme and her own dating history.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo and other media outlets, she said: "I'm so excited. It's an absolute honour to be hosting this show. Everybody would want my job. Like we're in Italy. Hello!
"The reaction from my friends that have said they wish they had something like this growing up... It's an education and [the cast] have put [themselves] out there. I admire you so much. You're so brave. You're so honest, you're so open, and you're the first to ever do this."
She added: "If I can help get that door open to provide a show that has visibility and create a new future then yeah, come on. It's about time."
Dannii bragged about her decade-long relationship before issuing some golden words of advice about how to make it work in the dating stages. She said: "For me, eye contact is everything. Your body language is everything and watching the first kisses [on the show] and watching everybody walk around was incredible. What we read with our eyes it's like you're devouring someone so eye contact is a big thing.
"My advice is eye contact, get together, and have a conversation like in the olden days! You'd meet someone at the dirty disco, you'd see someone on the dancefloor..." After fixing her dress and flicking her hair, Dannii added: "You fix your mascara and then you go in for the kiss."
Teasing what fans can expect from the show, without spoiling anything, Dannii said: "For me, it's who gets together, who is going to stay together, how does it all work. I mean. I need to have a lot of conversations with a few of the boys."
I Kissed A Boy launches on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Saturday, May 13, and on BBC Three at 9pm on Sunday, May 14.
