Danniella Westbrook has slammed the BBC after she was overlooked to reprise the role of Sam Mitchell on EastEnders.

Kim Medcalf will again be taking on the character rather than Danniella, who originally played the fiery former lap-dancer.

The snubbed star, 48, has now threatened to take legal action against the corporation in an angry tweet following the announcement.
