Feyenoord are awaiting a second bid from Rangers for Danilo, according to a report.
An initial offer for the Brazilian of around £4.5million was booted out by the Dutch giants last month, who are thought to be looking for closer to £6.5m. The Gers have since signed Cyriel Dessers from Cremonese, who joins Sam Lammers in a revamped Rangers attack as Michael Beale looks to shoot down Celtic in this season’s Premiership title race.
Now Football Scotland claim that the Ibrox club are still chasing Danilo and are set to go back to Feyenoord with an improved offer. Danilo has set tongues wagging in recent days after liking tweets from Light Blues fans suggesting he wants a switch to Glasgow. And it appears Beale is keen to team him up with Lammers and Dessers to complete his attacking arsenal after losing Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent this summer.
Antonio Colak is set to make way to free up space in the Rangers squad. The Croat only arrived last summer under Gio van Bronckhorst.
But despite a red hot start to the campaign, he is surplus to requirements under Beale and is available for transfer, with Serie B sides Parma and Pisa said to be keen on doing a deal.
