Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on the beloved sitcom Boy Meets World, recently shared some interesting insights during a rewatch podcast episode. Fishel revealed that if she had the choice, she would have taken a different route for her character's storyline with Ben Savage's character, Cory Matthews.
During the podcast, Fishel expressed that she wouldn't have had Cory and Topanga get married on the show. Instead, she envisioned a scenario where the characters go through the proposal and wedding planning but ultimately decide that marriage might not be the right choice for them at that moment. Fishel emphasized that she still wanted the characters to be together but felt that delaying the marriage aspect could have provided more storytelling opportunities.
