Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has posted a funny reaction to a moment in Sunday’s Merseyside derby.
The Reds claimed a 2-0 win over their nearest rivals in the Premier League, thanks to second half goals from Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane. That victory saw Liverpool move back to one point behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table.
Throughout the match there was plenty of tension between the two teams, with decisions being made that were not liked by either side. One such controversial decision was when referee Stuart Attwell booked Everton’s Anthony Gordon for diving following an apparent challenge by Naby Keita.

The Everton forward claimed after the game that he did not dive, but VAR checked for a penalty at the time and agreed with the decision made by Attwell. And now a screenshot of the incident has been shared by Sturridge.
In the image, it shows Keita moving out of the way of Gordon, which offers a resemblance of Sturridge’s famous dance that he often performed after scoring a goal. “There’s never a wrong time to drop this move,” wrote Sturridge, followed by three laughing emojis.
Sturridge is currently with Australian outfit Perth Glory, after signing for the club in October. However, he's made just six appearances since his move and is looking increasingly likely to leave when his contract expires at the end of June.
