Daniel Radcliffe has spoken out about the challenges of filming some of his stunts in his new movie The Lost City and how he had help from co-star Channing Tatum. The Harry Potter star joined Susanna Reid and Ben Shepard on Good Morning Britain to discuss his new role in the upcoming action-comedy.
The actor plays Abigail Fairfax, an eccentric billionaire, who kidnaps author Loretta Sage, played by American movie actress Sandra Bullock, in the hopes she will lead him to the lost treasure mentioned in her latest novel. The movie, which also stars Tatum and Brad Pitt, drops in UK cinemas on April 15.
During Daniel's appearance on GMB, host Ben Shephard asked the actor: "People in our ear have just said Sandra [Bullock] apparently was worried about the stunts killing you?"
"Ok I know what this is now," the 32-year-old actor said: "First day, I was on a boat and I was trying to look cool in a suit and it was very very choppy waters and I think they were worried about me just going over the side on my first day. So Channing was, like you don't see it in the film, but Channing was on that boat also doing stunt safety for me just leaning over and grabbing my leg at some points but yeah I was determined to look cool".
The Lost City is released in UK cinemas on April 15. Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
