Dani Dyer sobbed as she watched EastEnders - but not over the scene where her dad's character Mick Carter died.
Sharing a snap of her television at home, she captioned the photo: "Think I'm crying even more at last night's episode."
Her famous dad, who played the Queen Vic's landlord for nine years in the soap, left the show on Christmas Day.
Dani enjoyed Christmas day with her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen and her son Santiago, who turned two next month.
It was the second Christmas the couple had shared together and she took to Instagram to share a collection of snaps from their day.
Her dad Danny's character Mick was "killed off" after he appeared to drown at sea during Sunday's special.
His character tried in vain to safe his ex-wife Linda after she and Janine Butcher drove off a cliff.
His act of bravery came after Mick discovered the truth about Janine's framing of Linda.
He confessed his love for Janine before his dramatic drowning scene.
Danny, 45, recently shared some behind the scenes secrets, revealing that it was actually filmed in a "tank of vegetable juice".
He told The Sun: "My last scene, I was smothered in broccoli. The water tank, they fill it with broccoli juice to make it green. It is like a bath temperature. I was very tearful and I was all emotional — but I smelt like broccoli. It softened the blow."
The scene began after the trio enjoyed Christmas dinner, before Janine was outed by her daughter, Scarlett.
Janine and Linda went head-to-head in the finale in an explosive car chase.
Mick was following in the car behind, who threw himself out of his vehicle to jump into the water to save the two women.
Tragically Mick hadn't realised that Linda was already out of the water and had got herself safely to land.
Fans were in stitches after Danny addressed his character's exit on Instagram.
Danny was enjoying a well-earned drink on a tropical beach, joking that he had swam there from the English Channel.

As he downed a tequila he told followers it was a "c*** of a swim", and that he was "sweet as a f****** nut after his exit from the soap."
"It was very emotional last night. It was a very nutty episode. But don't be concerned... because I f***ing made it!" he joked.
"It was a c**t of a swim but let me tell you now, it was worth it. Mick needed a rest, it was time for him to move on, new chapter," he said.
