Dani Ceballos extends Real Madrid deal until 2027

Real Madrid on Friday has announced the contract renewal of midfielder Dani Ceballos until June 2027. The 26-year-old Spain international's previous contract was set to expire in the coming week.

In a statement, Real Madrid highlighted Ceballos' contributions to the team, stating, "Ceballos has defended Madrid's shirt in 120 games across four seasons, in which he has won 11 trophies." This renewal demonstrates the club's faith in the player's abilities and his importance to their future plans.

Ceballos joins midfielder Toni Kroos and defender Nacho Fernandez in committing to a contract extension at the Santiago Bernabeu, showcasing Real Madrid's efforts to retain key players and maintain stability within the squad.

The renewal comes amidst an already strong midfield roster at Real Madrid, with the recent signing of Jude Bellingham adding to their options. Additionally, it is expected that veteran midfielder Luka Modric will also extend his stay at the club, as Spanish reports suggest an agreement for his contract extension will be reached next week.

Real Madrid continues to prioritise building a competitive squad, ensuring the retention of key talents while also making strategic signings. With Ceballos now secured for an extended period, the club aims to strengthen its position for future challenges and maintain its pursuit of silverware both domestically and in European competitions.
