Tottenham Hotspur have added two more players to their growing loan army plying their trade around Europe and England and they will be hoping to impress as the others have.
Spurs signed Italy U21 international Destiny Udogie from Udinese this week in a deal worth £15million plus another potential £3million in add-ons. The 19-year-old penned a five-year contract and has been loaned straight back to the Serie A side to continue his development this season as he looks to break into the senior Italy set-up.
football.london and Tottenham fans will be keeping a close eye on the talented teenager as he gets back to action when Udinese hosts Salernitana in Serie A on Saturday evening.

Giovani Lo Celso has also left on loan once again for Villarreal, with Spurs inserting a break clause if a club makes a permanent transfer bid for the 26-year-old Argentina international in January and he then agrees to the move. The midfielder could be straight back into European football if fit enough as the Spanish side host Hadjuk Split in the Europa Conference League play-off round on Thursday evening before travelling to Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Sunday night.
In addition to that duo, four Tottenham players have stepped out on loan for this campaign in the Football League, France and Sweden with more set to follow them in the weeks ahead. Here is how the four young players got on this week away from Antonio Conte's squad.
Dane Scarlett
The 18-year-old striker is yet to grab that first goal for Portsmouth but he has been feeling the love from the fans and from his manager.
On Tuesday night, Scarlett put in a hard-working 63-minute shift as Pompey won 4-1 at home against Cambridge United and as he walked off the pitch on the far side having been substituted, he walked around the goal on his way back to the dugouts and received a loud rendition of 'Super Dane, Super Dane, Super Dane Scarlett' from the fans for his efforts. He applauded them back and the video clip of the moment has been watched more than 100,000 times on Twitter.
Scarlett has now played five matches for Portsmouth and manager Danny Cowley is excited about what the teenager has already been showing.
"I think Dane, against the ball, is 'wow'. For an 18-year-old, his understanding of how to defend from the front, and the speed and aggression that he can go and press the ball, is like he’s got the eye of the tiger," the Pompey boss is quoted as saying in The Portsmouth News. "He’s got this ruthless streak to his game, both against the ball – how quickly he gets up to it – but also then his movement and his reactive quality. In training he’s looked really exciting and it’s lovely from our perspective. We’re so privileged to be able to wake up every morning and be able to come in and watch such a young talent grow and develop."
Cowley indicated that he would continue to throw the 18-year-old into matches because he trusts him already.
"Age is just a number to me. ‘I just pick the team on what I see really. It’s always on competence," he said. "Yeah, of course, experienced players, you can’t replicate 500 games. Any good professional will be much better after 500 games than they are after their first game, but also on their first game they bring an energy and enthusiasm and youthful exuberance which can be very powerful, too."
Joe Rodon
The 24-year-old Wales international was involved in an unfortunate incident as got another 90 minutes under his belt during Rennes' 1-1 draw against Monaco, who played for more 75 minutes with 10 men after Youssouf Fofana's red card, in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
The centre-back moved to the French side this month with a €20million (£16.8m) option for them to buy him permanently. The Ligue 1 outfit are one of the most heavily scouted teams in Europe, along with Ajax, because of their development and recruitment of young stars of the future and Joe Rodon will be hoping to add his name to that long list.
The Welshman was involved in, although not to blame for, the mess that handed Monaco their 72nd minute equaliser. He played a pass back to substitute goalkeeper Dogan Alemdar who took an extra touch and looked up for a pass rather than clearing the ball and Breel Embolo took advantage of the stopper's hesitation and tackled him, sending the ball cannoning back into the net.
Upon Rodon's unveiling this month, Olivier Cloarec, Rennes' general manager, said: "He is a player who has a lot of desire and who is happy to arrive in Rennes. He will bring aggression in our defence. It was one of the points that we wanted to improve compared to last season. Joe fulfils all the criteria of the profile sought. As an international, he needs to play. He also contributed a lot to the qualification of Wales for the World Cup. He is a true leader on the field."
Troy Parrott
Troy Parrott followed up his first goal for Preston North End last week with an impressive 90 minutes in the 1-0 win at Luton at the weekend and then 88 minutes in the 0-0 home draw against Rotherham.
Lancs Live gave the 20-year-old a seven in their player ratings from the midweek game against Rotherham, saying: "Started so brightly. Created a huge chance for Johnson after a purposeful drive forward and then went close himself moments later, showing quick feet inside the box. Had a massive opportunity just before half-time but was denied. Finishing touch was lacking, but work rate and link-up play very good, again."
Parrott received an even higher score with an eight for his performance against Luton at the weekend, with the review: "A tireless and selfless display from him up top. Was a focal point for PNE all game and linked play up fantastically. Never stopped making himself available and running for the team. Had a chance to kill the match at the end."
Preston midfielder Ryan Ledson admitted that he has been impressed by Parrott among the new signings for the club.
"We are senior lads and we need to get these new lads learning about what Preston is all about. They have been good so far. We've got Alvaro (Fernandez), who I think will be a good signing for us and Robbie Brady has been brilliant since he's come in - not just on the pitch but off the pitch too. He brings a lot of experience," he said in an interview with Lancs Live. "I have been impressed with Troy and even the likes of Dai [Cornell] - he has been brilliant in training I think, I really do.
Alfie Whiteman
The 23-year-old goalkeeper got another 90 minutes under his belt as he has been out on loan, back at Swedish side Degerfors since before the Allsvenskan season began in April. He has racked up 16 appearances so far and on Sunday played as his side grabbed a point with their 1-1 draw at home to Vargbergs.
Whiteman helped keep Degerfors up last season with a dramatic final day escape and this campaign the club are back down near the bottom again, 14th in the 16 team league and just two points ahead of basement boys Sundsvall.
