Dancing On Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have updated fans on Connor Ball's health after a nasty fall at the weekend.
The Vamps star managed to slice his shin with a blade after a horror fall during the ITV live show on Sunday, but like a trooper, he got back up and continued on with his Pirates of the Caribbean themed skate.
Connor - who is partnered with professional skater Alexandra Schauman on the ITV show - managed to cut his own leg, leaving it bleeding as concerned hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby checked he was ok.
And appearing on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch today, Torvill and Dean gave an update on Connor after his injury.
Asked if anyone had surprised them this series, Chris replied: "I think Connor is a surprise because our other top celebrities are all from a dancing background and Connor, he's a guitar player and so not so much.
"He's really stepped up, he's a stand out - he's our dark horse."
Jayne added: "As Chris said, Connor, each week, has got better and better but unfortunately he's had a couple of falls recently. He managed to kick himself in the shin last week, he's had stitches in his leg. But he carried on."
"He's like a patchwork at the moment," Chris interjected to add, before Jane continued: "After the fall in the routine, he jumped up and carried on. He was probably in a lot of pain but he's very determined."
After the fall on Sunday, Connor and Alex made their way to chat to the show's hosts.
"We are gutted for you," Phillip told him addressing the fall, before adding: "But first of all, are you okay?"
"I don't wanna look what's going on under here right now," Connor admitted as Alexandra confirmed: "It is bleeding!"
"The blade went into my leg so I don't know if something's cut open," Connor then added as he tried to get his breath back.
Later on, Connor took to social media to insist to fans he was doing ok despite his injury.
He tweeted: "guys im okay, currently getting my leg stitched up but thank you so so so much for voting me through once again, you guys are actually incredible i’m too lucky honestly."
He also shared a snap of his injured leg after being stitched up to say he was making good progress.
