Dancing on Ice's Oti Mabuse at centre of chaotic scoring blunder in second week as judge

Oti Mabuse was left flustered on Sunday night when she made a scoring blunder in only her second week as a Dancing on Ice judge.

Former Strictly Come Dancing champion pro Oti, who won the BBC show with both Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey, replaces John Barrowman on the ice panel this year, much to the delight of many fans.

After her debut during last weekend's Dancing on Ice launch show, Oti was showered with compliments from viewers online, but she didn't get off to the best of starts on Sunday night.

The first celeb onto the rink in week two was rugby star Ben Foden, who put in a decent first performance to Ricky Martin classic Livin' La Vida Loca alongside professional partner Robin Johnstone.

While Ben didn't make any obvious mistakes during his routine, the same couldn't be said for the scoring.

After Ben and Robin headed to join hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby rink side, the panel were asked for their scores, only, when it came to her turn, Oti said a different score to the one that appeared on the screen beneath her.

She told Ben and Robin she'd awarded them a 6.0, but the screen showed 6.5.

Once all four judges had given their scores, Phillip went back to Oti to double check her mark.

He said: "Oti can I just clarify your score, 'cos you said 6 but you've got 6.5."

The dancer replied: "I wanted to put 6. I got so excited I pressed it twice!"

After Ben joked it was "too late," for Oti to change her score, Phillip told them it would be adjusted to reflect what she wanted to give.

Ben found himself at the centre of the action later on in the show when he landed in the Skate Off and was then given the boot by the panel after he and TV host Rhia Hebden had skated again.
