Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu became the third celebrity to be eliminated from celeb skating contest Dancing on Ice after facing Patsy Palmer in the dreaded skate-off on Sunday night's show (February 5). The remaining contestants took part in Dance Week.
Love Island beauty Ekin-Su, who won last summer's series of tjhe ITV2 dating contest with her man Davide Sanclimenti, and EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer found themselves in the bottom two. Ekin-Su was in tears after her final skate with her ice partner Brendyn Hatfield, and Patsy also cried as the ladies waited to find out who was going home.
The all-star judging panel voted by a clean sweep that Patsy, who played Bianca Jackson in the BBC One soap EastEnders, should stay in the contest. Brendyn said he was proud of Ekin-Su as the tears flowed.

"This is the most emotional skate we've ever had," said host Phillip Schofield, and his co-host Holly Willoughby agreed: "I can't bear it."
Ekin-Su received a raft of support from fans after receiving criticism during the first week of the competition for wearing a sheer-look outfit as she skated to the Britney Spears song Toxic. The sexy performance sparked 112 Ofcom complaints.
She recreated her famous Love Island terrace crawl during her racy routine - which host Holly described as the sexiest performance." She looked stunning in a jumpsuit designed to be a replica of Britney's bejewelled sheer costume in the Toxic music video. The outfit was a full fabric jumpsuit but appeared to be a high-cut thong and bralet.
But @EnfieldGarry said on Twitter: "Not an outfit for a family show, shame you on Ekin Su." @Dia_Monty grumbled: "Oh come on. It's week one. Ekin Sue your not going to get more points for the lack of outfit!" And @suttylass exclaimed: "Ekin hell. Bit much at this time of night."
Fan @ChezB94 asked about her exit from the show: "Don’t get why Ekin-Su has gone, why they all hating on her?" and @conormckenna101 said: "Feel bad for Ekin-Su. She got a lot of unwarranted stick throughout the course of the show."
@owencchild echoed: "Feel for Ekin though man she’s had it so s*** from the start with the negativity & routines she’s been given." And @xcharlibright tweeted: "Ekin Su did absolutely amazing and she should be VERY proud of herself. No, her skating was not the best, but she did a whole lot more than any of you complaining old s**s ever could."
@Sweetrk2020 supported: "The double standards are insane and don’t even get me started on the misogyny! Don’t let that horrible show dim your light ever!"
But @TJScaverton commented: "As much as I love love love Ekin-Su…Love Island was her thing and Dancing on Ice wasn’t, sadly. She gave it her best shot and was amazing for putting on a show!" They added: "Tonight wasn’t her night on the ice but she shouldn’t be dis-heartened or give up. Well done Ekin."
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show last month judge Oti Mabuse backed Ekin-Su over her performance. Asked by host Graham about the complaints she explained: "I think people complained about the outfit, how revealing it was, maybe the choreography. But I thought it was really, really sexy. For me to put yourself in that position, to wear an outfit like that ...If I had that body I would wear less."
