Carley Stenson has admitted she is 'terrified' of seeing Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse after each live show, fearing that she'll be brutally honest with her feedback, given that she already knows her.
When ex Hollyoaks star Carley made her debut on the rink alongside pro partner Mark Hanretty a few weeks ago, it was revealed, to viewers who didn't already know, that she had a connection to Oti, from the fact that Carly's other half Danny Mac danced with the now judge on Strictly back in 2016.
As soon as that was confirmed, certain Dancing on Ice viewers rushed to Twitter to raise concerns that Oti could be biased towards Carly with her scores, given that there was already a relationship between them. Those same concerns were raised when Carly and Matt skated a samba, the same dance Oti and Danny became famous for on Strictly, on Sunday's live show.
But, appearing as a guest on Friday's This Morning, Carly, who has starred in musicals like Shrek and Legally Blonde, said, if anything she is more fearful of what Oti will say to her, because of their pre-existing connection.
As she spoke hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, Dermot remarked: "It doesn't matter if she's your best friend or not; if she has something to say, she won't hold back," to which Carly replied: "Absolutely! I'm terrified going into the green room afterwards cos I'm like 'what's she going to say?!'
Confirming Alison's suspicions that Oti is 'brutally honest,' Carly added: "Massively honest and I wouldn't want it any other way. I want the best out of Oti, so tell me, tell me!"
