Dancing On Ice star Bez has tested positive for Covid-19 - just one day after making his debut on the ice.
The news will likely unnerve ITV bosses, who will have been hoping for a less chaotic year after numerous stars were forced to pull out in 2021 due to injury or catching the virus.
Bez has confirmed that he will be returning in the third week.
He announced the news to the Daily Star, saying: "I've had a positive test. I'm gutted because I'm going to be missing training but I'm looking forward to skating on the show again for Week Three and I'll be tuning at home and cheering on my mates who are skating this weekend."
An ITV spokesperson told The Mirror: “We have stringent protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all our contributors and staff which are routinely monitored and updated to reflect the current guidelines."
Last year, the ITV show was plagued with problems after five celebrities dropped out of the series and bosses were forced to bring forward the final by a week.
ITV also allowed the series to take a break for a week and put on a highlights show.
For the first time ever, two replacement stars were drafted in to step back onto the ice.
Two professional skaters were also forced to pull out - Yebin Mok, whose leg was accidentally stabbed by a skate, and Hamish Gaman, who suffered an injury to his thumb after pulling on a sock.
Their wrap party had also been cancelled due to the pandemic as the country was still in lockdown at the time.
