Dancing on Ice's Dance Week ended badly for Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu when she was kicked off the show after landing in the skate-off for a second time, minutes after being asked a rather telling question by host Phillip Schofield.
For the second week in succession, the ITV show had a theme as all the remaining couples took to the rink for Dance Week. The 90 minute live broadcast was a real spectacle as the skating stars attempted an array of dance genres to iconic songs and Matt Hancock even made an appearance.
Things started with ex Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson following in the footsteps of her Strictly boyfriend Danny Mac, by doing a samba, while top spot on the leaderboard went to gymnast Nile Wilson for his street dance infused performance.

At the other end of the standings was Love Island winner Ekin-Su, as her skate to Car Wash, complete with a guest appearance from boyfriend Davide, failed to win the judges over. After her fall last week, Patsy Palmer finished just ahead of Ekin on the leaderboard with her best score so far, while The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran was told he was the 'dark horse' of Dancing on Ice this year after his well executed number to Three Times A Lady.
After all of the pairs had performed, viewers at home had a short time to cast their votes for their favourites and, when the votes were combined with the judges' marks it was Ekin-Su and Patsy who found themselves in the bottom two, alongside their respective pro partners Brendyn Hatfield and Matt Evers. And, then after both couples skated again, there was a clean sweep of votes to keep Patsy from the judges.
Minutes before this week's result, a dejected looking Ekin-Su was asked by host Phillip if she was enjoying doing the show, to which she replied, she was "I'm great...I'm strong," as he then added: "'Cos you just said 'I'm a bit sad, I'm not quite sure it's there," prompting Ekin to look down at the floor and Phillip to tell her: "Don't be down."
