Dancing On Ice judge Oti 'overmarks' Ben Foden by accident after 'exciting' routine

Oti Mabuse was forced to clarify her scores on Dancing On Ice on Sunday night, as host Phillip Schofield got very confused.

The Strictly Come Dancing favourite had awarded Ben Foden a score of 6.5 according to her screen, while she actually stated she marked him six points.

As Phillip asked which it was, she revealed she got way too "excited" over Ben's performance and accidentally pressed six twice, resulting in it flashing up as 6.5

She intended on marking him six, with Phil claiming this would be changed to match her actual score for when all the judges' points were totalled up.

Ben joked it was too late though, suggesting he should get the 6.5 as that is what it said on the points screen.

Viewers tuning in found the moment hilarious, with one tweeting: "Oti pressing the wrong score I love her."

A second added: "Oti getting her score wrong and just brushing it off like a queen," as a third joked: "Not Oti messing her score up."

This week someone will leave the ITV series for good in the dreaded skate-off.

It comes after the first episode last weekend, as six skating stars took to the rink in a bid to impress the judges and the audience at home.

It was TV presenter Ria Hebden and her professional skating partner Łukasz Różycki who found themselves in the bottom last week.

There was no skate-off, as the bottom skater from last week was revealed to be competing against whoever received the lowest votes the following week.

As for Ria, the pair had received a decent score of 24.5 after taking to the ice for the first time - but it seems it wasn't enough.

When asked by Phillip how she felt, Ria replied: "I'm really gutted because we absolutely worked so hard on this skate and I enjoyed every second skating with Łukasz."

Łukasz was already excited about the next show and said: "Oh we have a fabulous routine so I'm looking forward actually."

Ria later admitted she was “gutted” about finding herself in the bottom two, as she appeared on Lorraine.

Ria said: "I'm feeling motivated. Last week I was gutted after working so hard. That fire in my belly has been royally lit. I'm so proud that I came third overall in the judge's scores."

Fans of the TV presenter were quick to heap praise on her performance with many saying she didn't deserve to be in the skate-off.

One tweeted: "Good luck I’ll be voting for you. You were brilliant last week and definitely did NOT deserve to be in the skate off."

Dancing on Ice continues Sunday at 6:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
