Dancing On Ice's recent episode saw host Phillip Schofield break a show format to comfort an eliminated contestant.
On Sunday evening, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was eliminated after performing on the ice with her partner Brendyn Hatfield for Dance Week for the last time.
She danced her heart out to Car Wash but judges only scored her 23 points out of a total of 40.
She landed in the bottom two with EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, making it the second time the Love Island star landed in the skate-off.
The reality star teared up as she got eliminated from the show and revealed she has been busy with endless work commitments but tried her best.
After her speech, Phillip asked Ekin-Su to get off the ice and give him and co-host Holly Willoughby a hug.
"Come over here. Come on. We don't normally do this but you need to have a hug," he said.
Her elimination is the third exit in the competition, with John Fashanu having left in the second week and Michelle Heaton last week.
Ekin-Su admitted: "We put so much time into it and my other work commitments and I really gave everything to this."
She previously explained how she'd love to win the show, and when asked if she was in it to win it, she admitted: "Yes I am, otherwise I’m not doing it. I don’t mind going home early but my mind doesn’t work like that. If I’m doing it, I’m putting 100% in. I’m going to believe in myself, I believe in myself so much."
It was a disappointing week last week for EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, who found herself close to exiting the show. She had danced to Defying Gravity from Wicked, dressed as Elphaba, and unfortunately suffered a fall mid-way through the routine.
Her professional skating partner Matt Evers quickly picked her up and the pair continued skating, with Patsy insisting to the hosts and judges after the dance, that she was doing fine and falls were part of life.
"I'm ok, it's life, you fall, you get up, you carry on, it's amazing," she said while speaking to the judges after the performance.
