Dancing on Ice star The Vivienne has confirmed she and her husband have split up. The Welsh drag queen made television history becoming the first drag queen to compete on the ice-dancing competition.
She competed alongside professional partner Colin Grafton, in the most recent series which finished airing last month. The Vivienne, full name James Lee Williams, began dating her husband David five and a half years ago and the pair got married in a glitzy ceremony in December 2019, reports Wales Online. The Vivienne says the pair are still friends but that they've decided to split as "sometimes life gets in the way and people grow apart".
Confirming their split in a statement on Instagram, The Vivienne wrote: "As many may have noticed, David and I have been apart recently. We have made the decision to part ways after an amazing five and a half years.

"We are still very much friends, but sometimes life gets in the way and people grow apart. We wish each the absolute best and will always be part of each other's lives. We'd ask that you please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you. James and David."
The Vivienne's post, shared to Instagram shortly after 4pm on Friday, April 14, has already received more than 17,000 likes of support and a flurry of well wishes from friends, fans and followers.
Jimbo The Drag Clown said: "Love you Both," while television presenter Vanessa Feltz said: "So sorry to hear and available to take you out for dinner whenever you are free!!"

Friend Jessica Bartz added: "It's a shame you had to even post this, it's your life babe don't let anyone get in the way, but I guess that comes with been [being] in the public eye. Everyone's hear [sic] to support you. Take time from socials to just do you boo."
The Vivienne was born and raised in Colwyn Bay in north Wales and moved to Liverpool when she was 16 years old. The Vivienne chose her name because she was known for wearing Vivienne Westwood clothing - and added the 'The' to make her name more unique and memorable. In May 2015, The Vivienne was crowned the UK Ambassador of RuPaul's Drag Race and she later won the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
