Dancing On Ice fans 'gutted' as semi-finalist brutally falls during live show

Dancing On Ice viewers have been left "gutted" after one of the semi-finalists brutally fell during tonight's live porgramme. The ITV celebrity talent competition returned ahead of the final next weekend.

But just moments into the show The Vivienne took a nasty tumble during the opening routine, which was being scored by the judges as part of an overall score tonight, combined with the public vote.

The Drag Race star was joined by Joey Essex, Nile Wilson, Siva Kaneswaran and Mollie Gallagher for their Solo Skate. After the skate, Phillip turned to The Vivienne to ask if they were alright, to which she said: “My knees are hurting a little bit. But I’m fine. We’re dancing on ice.”

One social media user wrote: “I feel very bad for Vivienne I must admit, that wasn’t a nice fall,” as a second added: “Omg the solo skate on Dancing On Ice was amazing!! Don’t worry about the fall The Vivienne you’re still my personal fave!”

“Gutted then for the Vivienne falling,” another wrote as a fellow fan chimed: “Oh the Vivienne fell Jesus christ just goes to show they rely on their partner too much."

A little later on, The Vivienne took back to the ice with her pro-skate partner and performed a routine to Somewhere Over The Rainbow, a song close to her heart. After that she dedicated it to the LGBTQ+ community.

The Vivienne told the studio: "To be able to do this, especially at a time now when drag is fully under attack, to show that drag is nothing but entertainment, when we're nothing to be feared, we just want to have fun."
