Dancing On Ice fans all say exact same thing about Diversity’s performance on ITV show

Fans of Dancing On Ice were left in awe after Diversity took to the ice to perform an incredible live routine last night.

Show judge Ashley Banjo stepped out from behind the desk and took centre stage as he treated fans to a performance unlike any other.

The troupe were joined by professional skaters as they effortlessly boogied to Usher’s song Caught Up.

The crowd went wild as Perri Kiely returned to the rink three years after he came second to Joe Swash on the skating competition in a controversial loss.

The 27-year-old stole the show as he flipped, spun and jived across the dancefloor on top of the ice.

His incredible moves would have put him at the top of the leader board even before he and Ashley donned a pair of skates and Perri performed an unbelievable slow-motion stop on one leg.

Fans took to Twitter to express their admiration for Perri and Ashley’s ever-growing skillset.

One took to the social media platform to praise their routine, writing: “Well. @dancingonice @ ITV May as well pack up the rest of the series after that @Diversity_Tweet on ice performance. @AshleyBanjo & @perrikiely smashed it. There’s nothing else I’d rather watch for the next 6 Sundays."

Another gushed: "That choreographed controlled reverse stop ON ONE SKATE killed it @perrikiely The 2023 series #DancingOnIce winner, I think Twitter agrees."

A third posted: "It's only taken 5 years to get @AshleyBanjo on ice in skates, but that was well worth the wait! SMASHED IT."

While a fourth wrote: "How breathtaking was the performance by @Diversity_Tweet on @dancingonice this evening? Mind blowing!"

As fans fell over themselves in awe of Diversity’s performance, others accused the judges of ‘undermarking’ contestant Nile Wilson, with viewers adamant that the Olympian should have scored “9.5s or 10s” for his routine.

It was during this week’s live show, in which Nile and his professional partner Olivia Smart performed a Mission Impossible-themed dance, in which he managed to tick the judge’s criteria of executing a 2ft high jump.

However, viewers were left confused when the scores took longer to come through than usual, with a technical glitch meaning the marks didn’t appear on the screen.

When they were finally announced, fans were left unhappy with the 35 points that were awarded to the couple.

Nile, a firm favourite in the contest, has been a high scorer throughout the series, so viewers were left baffled with the judges’ decision, assuming that the technical glitch may have been down to confusion over the low score.
