The Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt has revealed that the Dancing on Ice experience is 'scary' and 'gruelling'.
The new series of the hit ITV competition started on Sunday, January 16 and saw six new celebrities take to the ice after months of intense skating training.
The 39-year-old singer - who is partnered with pro skater Mark Hanretty - scored 30 points for her first performance but the dancer and choreographer revealed it took 'hard' work to get to that point.

Speaking on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch on Tuesday, the Pussycat Doll said: "It is, it honestly is. It's hard, it's scary it's gruelling, like everyday Mark, my pro partner, is telling me to do things and my mind is like 'don't do it!'.
"You keep learning and you keep falling and you keep getting back up and braving the bruises and the sore muscles and just keep going, because what an amazing and beautiful experience to get to glide on the ice like a swan."
Talking about her first performance, Kimberly said: "I think on that first show, first performance, the nerves and the adrenaline was really playing a huge part so I couldn't get lost in the music like I really want to.
"But it was first show and I feel like there is a lot of time for growth and I just hope I can get my skating skills on point enough that I can take to take it to the place I want to as a dancer."
On Sunday night former Strictly Come Dancing professional and ballroom dancer Brendan Cole topped the leader board after wowing judges in his first performance and scoring 30.5 points.
Kimberly told presenter Steph McGovern she is eager to beat Brendan to the top spot with her next performance.
"I can't help but be quite competitive you know," Kimberly explained: "I didn't quite top the leader board for first show so I've already got my eye on Brendan and Vanessa. Like come on I want to see my name up there!"
Six new celebrities will be taking to the ice when Dancing on Ice continues on ITV on Sunday, January 23 from 6.30pm.
Steph's Packed Lunch airs weekdays on Channel 4 from 12.30pm.
