Dana White has suggested he will continue to work on fighter safety in his new slap fighting league.
The American has launched his new Power Slap league in a bid to make the sport of slap fighting mainstream around the globe, following the success of his lengthy stint as president of the UFC. Power Slap's 'Road To The Title' series aired for the first time last week and generated further controversy with a series of worrying incidents occurring.
One fighter was left with short-term memory loss after being knocked out cold, in addition to a female fighter being sent crashing into the podium after being severely concussed. The fighting is sanctioned by the Nevada Athletic State Commission and the regulatory body is working to improve the safety of fighters.
