Dan Walker has provided an update after leaving BBC Breakfast. The presenter left the show after six years on the famous red sofa on Tuesday, May 17.
The 46-year-old announced he was leaving the programme back in April and said he was "really excited" to take on a new role at Channel 5 News, which would see him replace Sian Williams who recently stepped down from anchoring the show.
At the time, Dan said: "I love working alongside Sally [Nugent] and I love the team there, but Channel 5 came with big ambitions, with big plans, and I don't think opportunities like this come around very often and I can't wait."
