Dan Walker, bound for Channel 5 after leaving BBC Breakfast, offered a rare glimpse into his home life on social media with a recent Twitter post.
The cute snap showed a brilliant effort by his young son playing hide and seek, lying face down on a table.
Dan wrote on Twitter : "This just popped up on my photos. An early picture of our little lad Joe playing hide-and-seek. Kids are the best."
The presenter, who has just joined Channel 5 after leaving the BBC, is normally reluctant to share pictures of his family to his thousands of followers online. He made an exception this week to post the amusing picture of his little boy.
Dan is known for his roles on BBC Breakfast and Football Focus and is fortunate to have a loving family around him who support him through drastic career decisions.
He recently revealed he was joining Channel 5 news from Monday June 6. The first show will be broadcast at 6pm.
Who is Dan Walker married to?
Dan Walker is married to wife Sarah, who he met at the University of Sheffield in 1999. Dan was studying for a masters in broadcast journalism at the time.
The pair moved back to the northern city as it "played a big part in our lives" and it is where they currently call home with their children.
Sarah and Dan married in 2001 and he has spoken about their relationship in public before, despite usually keeping it private.
Emotional after a romantic Viennese Waltz on Strictly Come Dancing, Dan used the cameras panning to Sarah as an opportunity to tell everyone how much he loves her.
He said: "She's one of those people, the more you know her the more you love her... and I've known her and loved her for over half my life.
"She's absolutely amazing, she's such a special person and I love her to bits. I hope she enjoyed that because we really loved it."

Not much is known about Dan's family as he likes to keep his home life private, but he is known to have three children with wife Sarah.
Dan and Sarah have two girls named Susanna and Jessica and a boy called Chuck.

Eldest daughter 'Susie' is coming up to her 15th birthday. For her 14th, Dan shared a picture of the family's celebrations and cake.
He wrote: "Happy Birthday to our amazing, gorgeous, kind and wonderful 14-year-old Susie.
"She wanted waffles for breakfast, a chocolate brownie cake with sprinkles for later & some brown converse high-tops (which are surprisingly hard to find). I hope you have a lovely Sunday."
