Dan Walker couldn't resist making a dig at Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood during his appearance on Thursday's Lorraine.
Dan, 45, joined Christine Lampard in the ITV studio to chat about his new TV show Digging For Treasure which "is like Top Gear with spades" and sees experts peel back the layers of history hidden beneath the earth.
"You're peeling back the layers of history and I just find it fascinating," Dan said of his new Channel 5 show.
Referring to the detectorists, Dan added: "I love their enthusiasm and it's just a window into why this world excites them so much because it's almost like a drug for them."
Of course, Christine was keen to ask Dan about his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last year and his partnership with Nadiya Bychkova.
"I did love it. I spent time getting to know Nadiya, she was fantastic. I'm quite a confident person but I've just never been confident on a dance floor but she showed me that I could enjoy it and that other people would enjoy it and I just loved learning from her, she was just brilliant.
"And I think there's a whole new bunch of people going in this year and I think the one thing that we had throughout it, I remember we said right at the start was 'we're just gonna enjoy it as much as we can'.
"And the worst thing is when you come out of Strictly and you say, 'I wish I had enjoyed it more at the time'.
"Because you're part of the biggest show on TV, just embrace it and have a bit of fun," Dan continued.
Christine, who did Strictly back in 2008, replied: "Absolutely, exactly, roll with it, don't listen to what any of the judges really say!"
Making a sly dig at judge Craig Revel Horwood, Dan added: "Trust your partner, ignore Craig!" as Christine laughed out loud.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and ITV Hub.
