Ranking quarterbacks is both a futile exercise and something that every national pundit seems to enjoy doing. We have these discussions way too often but in this case, the discussion is both fascinating and infuriating.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, who is most famous for running out of the back of the endzone against the Minnesota Vikings, released a list of the best quarterbacks that are currently in the playoffs and the Vikings’ starting quarterback Kirk Cousins is outside the top 10.

Yes, you read that right. Cousins, who has been excellent this season and was voted to the Pro Bowl, is behind New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith.
Cousins isn’t a top-five quarterback, but considering his level of play this season, putting him behind those quarterbacks is beyond disrespectful. Heck, Cousins has played better than both Trevor Lawrence and Tom Brady this season and Lamar Jackson isn’t going to play on Sunday night.
I imagine that fans of the Dallas Cowboys feel the same way about Dak Prescott’s ranking.
