Havertz elbowed Burn in the 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge back in April and the Magpies defender savoured the moment at the end of the game at St James' Park. Havertz somehow avoided a red card for the incident back in the spring.

In a crazy finale, Jamaal Lascelles was also booked for winding up Marc Cucurella while Jason Tindall also had to split up players after the whistle had sounded.

"I feel immense pride at how the players have performed consistently. Now the challenge is to maintain and enhance that."
