Damian Lewis stepped out with new girlfriend Alison Mosshart weeks after it was confirmed they are very much an item.
The actor 51, and musician Alison, 43, were spotted walking through the streets of New York as he carried a tiny brown bag.
The happy pair chatted away to each other as they both looked casual in trainers and sunglasses.
Rocker Alison wore leopard print leggings and a plaid shirt over a trendy printed t-shirt. Damian wore a cream shirt with red palm tree prints with some oversized trousers.
The Homeland star was previously left heartbroken following the passing of his beloved wife Helen McCrory, 52, in April last year.
Helen, who was known for her roles in Harry Potter and Peaky Blinders, died after a secret battle with breast cancer.
More than a year on from the tragedy, Damian is ready to find love again.
The pair are understood to have met through mutual friends while in the UK earlier this year.
The couple were photographed together at a fundraising event for London's National Gallery last month.
According to an onlooker, Damian and Alison looked "100 per cent romantically involved – like they were on a hot date".
Alison is an American songwriter and the lead vocalist for The Kills - an indie rock band founded by the star and Kate Moss' ex-husband Jamie Hince.
Her mother Vivian, 76, let the cat out of the bag and told DailyMail.com the pair are very much involved.
"I don't know how much flak I'm going to get for all of this but of course we are excited for her," she said.
"They have mutual friends. I don't know exactly how they met but I'm fine with it. If she's happy, we are happy. I'm yet to meet him but certainly I'd like to."
Damian shares two children, Manon and Gulliver, with his late wife Helen.
