World Cup winner Damian de Allende is fit for Munster's latest trip to South Africa.
The Springbok centre is returning home this week as part of the Reds' 33-man squad for the rescheduled clashes with the Bulls on Saturday and the Lions on Saturday week.
De Allende, who has recovered from an abdomen injury, is part of a 33-man squad named by Johann van Graan for the trip, which follows the November stay that saw 14 players and staff members remain in quarantine in Cape Town after testing positive for Covid-19.
With Peter O'Mahony on Ireland duty, the squad is skippered by Jack O'Donoghue and includes recent addition Aran Hehir, the Shannon scrum-half who was drafted in as cover recently.
Van Graan is bringing six academy players to South Africa - Scott Buckley (hooker), Mark Donnelly (prop), Cian Hurley (lock), Eoin O’Connor (lock), Alex Kendellen (back-row) and Paddy Patterson (scrum-half).
Munster squad: L Coombes, Cronin, Crowley, Daly, de Allende, Farrell, Flannery, Gallagher, Goggin, Haley, Healy, Hehir, Nash, Patterson, R Scannell, Zebo; Archer, Barron, Buckley, Cloete, Donnelly, Hodnett, Hurley, Kendellen, Kleyn, Knox, O’Connor, O’Donoghue (C), O’Sullivan, Ryan, N Scannell, F Wycherley, J Wycherley.
