Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes has said she feels "incredibly honoured" for being given the Freedom of the City of London.

Dame Kelly, one of Britain’s greatest Olympians and an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, received the accolade ahead of her appearance at a Pride event at The Mansion House where she was guest of honour.
