We are nearing the end of phase three of OTAs and things are opening up financially across the league.
June 1st is the date that everyone knows well in terms of the salary cap. When you designate players as a post-June 1st cut, it splits the salary cap hit across multiple seasons. Once you get to June 1st, you get that salary cap space to use.
