Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries given 270 vehicles

A mega asset distribution programme for the beneficiaries of the State government’s “Dalit Bandhu” scheme marked the celebration of the 115 th birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Civil Supplies and Backward Classes Welfare Minister G Kamalakar handed over as many as 270 vehicles worth about ₹ 19.82 crore to the beneficiaries of the scheme at a programme held at the Ambedkar stadium here. Collector R V Karnan and others were present.

The programme was organised under the aegis of the District SC Service Co-op. Development Society Limited.
