Daisy May Cooper has shared her hilarious reason for wearing full glam makeup while popping to her local shop.
The 35-year-old This Country star looked flawless as she did her eye makeup, including lashes, as she took a trip down the road.
Posting a selfie on her Instagram on Friday morning, she wrote: "The amount of makeup I wear when I pop into my village shop, just incase I bump into my ex boy racer from 2003.
"We dated for a weekend... He dumped me coz I didn't appreciate his hub caps."
She jokingly added: "...He's going to f***ing regret that."
The caption no doubt made her loyal followers laugh out loud.
The star continued: "Annoyingly I think he's moved out of the area... So all of this way for nothing."
Nevertheless, Daisy looked incredible as she posed in a car while on the way to the shop.
The actress' funny post comes amid reports she has split from her husband Will Weston.
She is alleged to have to have grown 'tired' of her marriage, amid the pressures of the multiple lockdowns.
However, the star's mother-in-law denies the claims and seems bemused by the speculation.
Speaking to the MailOnline from home in the Cotswolds village, Pati Weston claimed the rumours surrounding her landscape gardener son and Daisy are "not true".
Speaking to the publication, she said: "It's all a fabrication, it's not true - I can't say any more than that."
The Cirencester-born star and Will married in September 2019 after a long courtship.
The pair are parents to two children together; two-year-old Pip and new-born son Jack, who the welcomed into the world last year.
In September 2020, Daisy took to Instagram to gush about her "unreal" husband.
"The love that I have for this fella is unreal," the star captioned a shot of Will and their daughter.
"Advice for yer ladies, marry someone that you fancy, whos [sic] kind, that you can fart Infront [sic] of, who makes you laugh and isn't squeamish of a dirty sanitary pad. @willwestonlandscape."
Rumours about their marriage began when the star was spotted without her wedding band and insiders close to her spoke to the media.
A source told The Sun: "Daisy said she had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will.
"They ended things for good earlier this year. She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over.
"She has also removed Will as a director on her media business. It's been a tough 17 months for everyone and Daisy and Will were no exception."
