A dad with 'the heart of a lion' died after he lost control of his motorbike and crashed into a barrier.
Lee Nall, 35, died on July 17 2022 after coming off his high-powered silver Suzuki GSXR at junction 2 of the M53 Southbound slipway, near Moreton, as he turned the corner at around 7.25pm. He suffered serious injuries to his lungs, left leg, groin and lower abdomen, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquest today, December 2, heard that the dad-of-three, who worked as a stagehand for PS Events, had high levels of alcohol in his system at the time of the fatal crash - 152mg per 100ml - as well as medium levels of cannabis, which would have affected his ability to drive safely.

He was also driving at excess speed shortly before the incident, which did not involve any other vehicles.
Coroner Anita Bhardwaj said: "In effect, Lee has been driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, driving too fast, and as he has taken the corner he has lost control and that's what caused the collision itself."
She handed down a conclusion of death by road traffic collision.
Following Lee's death, a spokesman for PS Events posted on Facebook: "A devastating day for our PS Events Family. We are not just crew, we are all close, we have each other's backs, brothers, sisters!
"Heart of a lion, would work any time any place anywhere. A great mate, colleague to all the crew. RIP Lee Nall."
Other messages of support were sent to his family. Missi Daly said: "Deepest condolences to this young man's family, I know their pain as I've been there with my own child, god love his children this is extremely distressing my thoughts are with you he sounded like an incredible young man ride high safe in the arms of the angels."
Trisha Clark said: "Hearing this tragic news made me so sad. I never knew him but you don't have to know someone to feel the pain that comes from all a person's family and friends. Lee was so loved by everyone, he'll be very much missed."
