A dad who has covered 96% of his body in tattoos has showed a throwback picture of his extreme inkings, which have taken more than 1,000 hours to complete.
Former chef Remy has spent over £75,000 on his transformation over the years, racking up over 213,000 Instagram followers in the process. In a recent post, the ink addict showed what his body looked like when it was almost totally blacked out.
Remy, from Canada, is almost covered head-to-toe in blackwork, which is a style of tattoo made up exclusively with black pigment, and has inked the same parts of his body multiple times.
In a recent throwback picture from 2020, he showed what he looked like when the blackwork was even more extreme, before he added detail onto the top of it. In the snap, Remy can be seen sitting on a bench wearing all black shorts, t-shirt and shoes.
The only thing that isn't black is his skull tattoo, which can be seen poking out the neckline of the t-shirt. In the caption, he wrote: "Even if the whole world thought you were beautiful, it would be a lie if you didn't believe it.
"The mirror represents to us the outward manifestation of who we see ourselves to be on the inside. If you aren't happy with you, it won't matter who else is, so make sure [you're] satisfied with your reflection. Throwback to 2020."
As well as the skull on his chest, Remy also has a huge eye on his torso.
Some fans were stunned at the transformation Remy has had since the 2020 picture. One tattoo fan wrote: "It's progressed so much but the simplicity of this version is your suit is one of my faves bro."
Another follower commented: "I really like this stage of your journey, looked savage and classy at the same time lol, you are still doing some killer things tho, congrats Remy!"
A third person simply said: "You've come so far!!!"
Even though he ran out of space years ago, there's nothing stopping Remy from his journey of creating a "never seen before" design.
In the past he's even re-inked the same tattoos up to 20 times in a bid to change them or keep them looking as fresh as possible. Remy also has other body modifications, such as vampire fangs and stretched ear piercings.
He previously said: "I'll never run out of space, not so long as I'm willing to keep going."
