'Dad, we're being bombed right now': the frantic messages I'm receiving from my daughters in Dubai

One minute I was sending them embarrassing pictures posing with their old housemistress at the Varsity Match in London, the next I was receiving frantic messages from my two daughters in Dubai, telling me they were under attack from Iranian missiles.

"Dad we're being bombed right now!" one ticked me off in reply: "Iranian missiles are being intercepted all over Dubai."
