Esposito's Italian Deli and Ice Cream Parlour was founded after its owner, Danny Esposito, decided to turn his family's passion for ice cream into a business.
Esposito's has just launched its fourth venue in Court Hey Park, Huyton. The family-run business offers customers homemade cakes, treats, artisan sandwiches and handmade gelato every day of the week. Not only is all of the food made fresh on-site, but Esposito's also boasts authentic Italian coffee to wash everything down.
The success of the business is nothing new as Danny, 42, learned from the best, his own dad. Danny's dad and uncle came to the UK from Italy's Calabria region, establishing Mr Angelo Ice Cream in 1974.

In 1999, Danny paved his own path in the industry as the founder of Esposito’s Ice Cream. Starting out as a fleet of ice cream trucks, success soon spiralled into the multi-location business ice cream fans know and love today.
Boasting an impressively large Italian family, Danny and the business still feel the love and support from everyone across the world. He told the ECHO: "My dad was one of ten so I've got loads of aunties and uncles. We've had everyone come over to see Esposito's and they all follow us on social media. Everyone is so supportive and that's great to have."
Danny has two children of his own, Vincenzo, 17, and Luca, 14, who share in his passion. His eldest works part-time to help make gelato which is no unfamiliar sight for the family. Danny added: "Where we're from in Italy, it's called La Cucina Povera, which means the poor kitchen.
"It's called that because the people there had the land but very little money so they had to grow everything themselves and they cook with everything they grow. It can be difficult but everyone is so proud of what they cook and create and that's always been the case for me and my family."
Despite the runaway success of the business, Danny is still keen to keep it focused on the community. He said: "We're so passionate about food that we want to make everything ourselves with the best ingredients but because we're a family business, we want to make it as affordable as possible for families to come and have a nice day out.
Discussing the response Esposito's receives from customers, he added: "They all love it and it makes me so happy. We're bursting with pride that we've been so welcomed in four different towns with lots of different demographics.
"The people are really grateful that they've got a nice, clean facility to come to. It's not broke the bank and people are really grateful for that. Yeah, it's just a great feeling to have and we want to thank everyone for all of their support."
