A dad who weighed 27 stone and regularly broke furniture due to his size has been named Slimming World’s Man of the Year following his incredible weight loss transformation. Dave Winchester found it difficult to drive as his belly would get wedged against the steering wheel and would receive abuse from strangers while out in public.
He would also rarely leave his home and could never find clothes big enough to fit him online, Wales Online reports. The data analyst said he desperately wanted to lose weight for years, but could never find the right methods or motivation to actually do it.
However, after he found out his father-in-law's dying wish for was him to get healthier for his family, the 36-year-old took the first step and signed up to Slimming World in 2018.
