A dad said he was too scared to tell his children he had breast cancer after noticing a lump while in the shower.
Ex-police officer Dave was enjoying a holiday in Florida when he discovered a lump on his chest, but never informed his family as 'life seemed normal', the Liverpool Echo reports.
The 64-year-olde explained: "I was on holiday in Florida, celebrating my birthday, when I found a lump on my chest in the shower. It wasn’t painful and I didn’t tell anyone about it because life just seemed normal.
