After the heavy snow that hit parts of the UK last week, many people headed out into their gardens to build festive snowmen, make snow angels and take part in snowball fights. But one dad's frozen creation has left people in stitches after his inventive snowman began to take on the shape of something totally different as it started to melt the following morning, the Mirror reports.
Geoff, 40, decided to take advantage of the snowy weather and have some fun with his two kids by creating an unusually tall upright snowman figure, with buttons for eyes, a classic carrot for a nose and wrapped in a snug hat and scarf. However, when temperatures rose slightly the next day, their snowman began to melt into a very unfortunate shape which resembled a penis - leaving Geoff and his family in fits of laughter.
The father, who works as a gardener, was stunned to discover that the snow figure had melted sideways and now looked similar to a male's genitals. After sharing snaps of the hysterical creation with his friends on WhatsApp, the image of the snowman went viral on Reddit.
The comical image has now received over 19,400 like so far and has been dubbed as 'the leaning tower of penis'. One entertained user said: "For some reason, this has made me laugh more than anything else today. Thanks!"
Another joked: "Give it a rub, it'll stand better!" Geoff's pal who shared the pictures of the 'amazing' sculpture to Reddit said the online reaction had been 'funny' to see. He explained: "Geoff sent the picture of it to our WhatsApp group chat and we thought it was amazing.
"I shared it on the subreddit because people there seem to like that kind of thing". He added: "It was funny to see people react to it and give it nicknames, my friends and I were particularly fond of 'The Leaning Tower of Penis'.
"I posted a follow-up this morning as it's melting, which is also quite funny as it's drooping even more so now."
