A family visiting Liverpool on a mini break said they were 'overwhelmed' by the city's kindness and generosity after a woman gave their little girl money at a family meal.
Kieran Coyle, 34, and Rosalie Nisan, 33, were 'overwhelmed' during a meal at Shiraz Palace on Ranelagh street when they were approached by a fellow diner. The family were tucking into their chicken kebabs when a woman gave their daughter - nine-month-old Maise-Rose - some money.
The stranger went on to tell the couple how lovely their little girl was and handed her a fiver which the couple used to buy her a new football sleeper for bed. The couple, from Nottingham, were also experienced the city's kindness when they their lost wallet.

The couple cancelled all their cards expecting to never see them again until the missing wallet was handed into Queen's Square bus station - with all their money and cards still inside. The family stayed in the city for three days at the Premier Inn on the Albert Dock, but said "the whole city" was "so kind to them."
Kieran said: "We were just blown away by our trip to the city. We go a lot anyway but this time we just couldn't believe how kind the people are in the city.
"We were sat with our daughter having a meal and this woman came over, gave Masie a fiver and started to tell us about how lovely our daughter was. We couldn't believe how nice she was. You just don't see people this kind.
"We would love to thank the woman again. We just couldn't believe how kind everyone was to us on our trip. I even lost my wallet and someone handed it in. It just blew my mind, you don't expect it nowadays. You just don't see this generosity from people. It is just so rare and the whole city was just so kind to us. We love it there."
