Dad questions Aer Lingus policy after daughter, 15, 'stranded' on weekend trip

A doting dad has told how his teenage daughter travelling alone was refused permission to board a plane for not having the right paperwork.

Peter Craven said daughter Lucy, 15, was left distressed when Aer Lingus refused to let her board her return flight from Manchester to Belfast.

The excited youngster had flown from Belfast City Airport to Manchester by herself last Friday afternoon to visit her older brother without being asked for any additional paperwork before boarding the flight.
